CURRICULUM
A Graduate in Chemistry (1997) and Doctor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2004) from the University of La Rioja (Special Doctorate Prize) , she has worked with Dr. Jordi Vila in the Microbiology Service of the Clinical Institute of Infections and Immunology at the Hospital Clinic (Barcelona), where she studied mechanisms of resistance and gene expression in efflux pumps. She later joined the research group “Molecular Ecology of the resistance to antimicrobials and food safety”, directed by Dr. Carmen Torres, where she has collaborated in teaching activities and in multiple research projects at national and international level and has made more than 50 communications.
