Marta Canalejo González
Marta studied “Laboratory Technician” at the IES Nº1 of Gijón (2012). During her studies, Marta was trained in the “Laboratory of Analysis and Emergencies” of the Hospital Valle de Nalón. She has also studied “Chemical Plant Operator” by FU (2015) and she holds the type A and B accreditation for Animal Experimentation (2017).
From 2016 to 2018 she became part of the Service of the Servicio de Apoyo a la Investigación (SAI), more specifically in the Bacteria/Animals section, in the Agrobiotechnology Center of Navarra (IDAB), where she developed her skills, working with different techniques. In march 2017, she became responsible for this section.
In 2018, Marta joined the Infectious Diseases, Microbiota and Metabolism Unit in the Biomedical Research Center of La Rioja (CIBIR), where she is improving her skills and knowledge working in both animal models and patients.
