PubMed is a free search engine accessing primarily the MEDLINE database of references and abstracts on life sciences and biomedical topics.

Dialnet is a free access portal for the dissemination of scientific production in Spanish, mainly in human and social sciences. It was created by the University of La Rioja (Spain). It contains indexes of scientific and humanistic journals from Spain, Portugal and Latin America. In addition, it includes books (monographs), doctoral theses, and other type of documentation. In most cases, the full text of the documents is available online.

SciELO is an electronic library project. It has been created by the Foundation for the Support of Research of the State of São Paulo, Brazil (FAPESP) and the Latin American and Caribbean Center for Information in Health Sciences (BIREME). It allows the electronic publication of complete editions of scientific journals through an open access internet platform.

Bioeticawiki is an encyclopedia that is being built collaboratively, using the MediaWiki platform. Its objective is to promote through diverse platforms and the use of social networks the knowledge of Bioethics by a wide public and to promote the participation in the bioethical social debate. All contents are open access.
